Step 5 of 5

Your weekly rewiring practice

Assemble everything into a simple, repeatable weekly practice you can keep for the long term.

01 · Learn

The science only matters if it turns into something you'll actually do next week. Let's build that.

Everything in this course reduces to a short weekly rhythm: choose a small habit, repeat it often, protect the sleep that consolidates it, and let the old path fade by walking the new one. The aim isn't a dramatic overhaul — those rely on intensity, which we've seen the brain largely ignores. The aim is a practice quiet enough that you'll still be doing it in three months.

Write your practice down as a single sentence: the habit, its cue, and its frequency. Revisit it weekly, adjust the size if it's too hard or too easy, and keep the frequency high. That's the whole method.

Key points

  • A durable practice is small, cued, frequent, and sleep-supported.
  • Review weekly and adjust the size, never the frequency.
  • Boring consistency is the point — it's what the tissue responds to.
02 · Action

Do this before the next step

  • Write your practice as one sentence: "After [cue], I will [small habit], [how often]."
  • Set a weekly two-minute review to adjust size and confirm frequency.
  • Re-read Lesson 1 whenever the early friction returns on a new habit.
03 · Check-in

Answer these honestly

  • What single sentence describes the practice you'll start this week?
  • How will you know, a month from now, that the path is forming?
Done the action and answered the check-in? Mark this step off.
